valentines and seattle trip

We had a great weekend.  We went to Seattle and took the kids to the Pacific Science Center.  They loved all the exhibits and we saw an IMAX called Dinosaurs Alive in 3D which was a lot of fun.  Lance kept his glasses on for most of the show and kept reaching his hands out to try and touch the dinosaurs or he'd cuddle close to me and say, "They're going to get me!"  I took the boys up the elevator to the top of the Space Needle and saw the view from the top.  They thought that was pretty cool.  That night we went to the Lion King production at the Paramount Theatre.  That was a lot of fun, the costumes were amazing and it was fun to take the kids to a big production like that, something other than just the movie theatre!  The next day I went to Marilee's house for a sister's day to make valentines candy and Derek took Dylan and Tyler to play at Arena Sports.  A fun indoor soccer place with big blow up toys to jump around on and then they met Uncle Nate for a "free" lunch at Google.  All in all it was a fun trip.
We started off our Valentine's with breakfast at Grandma and Grandpa Allred's.  That afternoon we had our own little Valentine's toast with the kids, we had shirley temples and gave them their valentines.  That night we had 2 couples over for dinner and to play games while Aunt Kara watched the kids.  We have had a busy weekend but it has been a lot of fun!  We are lucky to have so many good friends and family around to spend our time with.
