Disneyland

Well we finally ventured to the wonderful world of Disneyland and we fell in love! We had such a great time and I think Derek and I enjoyed it as much as the kids. We saw all kinds of movie characters, ate with princesses, fought Darth Maul (if that's how you spell it), danced with Goofey and Cinderella's Fairy Godmother and more. There was hardly anybody there so we walked on to almost all the rides without any wait. Tyler and Kate were the perfect age to really enjoy it but Dylan definitely has share of fun as well. We were there for 2 1/2 days and before that we visited San Diego and Brawley. It was nice to see some of my family down in Brawley and eat the good mexican food that only be found down there. And of course the beach is always wonderful. Nothing quite like the sand and the ocean. We had a great trip and really enjoyed everything. When we were at Disneyland Kate, Tyler and I rode on the Star Wars ride and when it ended Kate leaned over to me and asked, "Mom, are we still at Disneyland?" The kids each got to choose something at Disneyland and Kate chose a Snow White princess dress and the boys chose Buzz Lightyear Blasters. We walked back to our hotel that night with Tyler and Dylan shooting eachother and everyone else all over Disneyland's main street with Snow White in tow. Lance took it all in stride and was so good. He hardly made a peep and went on a lot of the rides with us, he especially liked the tea cups I think. The pirates of the caribbean ride was a little scary he thought. All in all it was great and we are grateful we could go on such a fun trip and make such fun memories with our family.
