catch up

It has been so long and I've accumulated quite a few pictures between now and my last blog so I'm just going to post a bunch of pictures over the next few entries to try and catch up on what we've been up to!
Here's the quick scoop, hopefully somewhat in order with the pictures (not necessarily the right time-line but we can't be too picky):

1. me bowling, i think i pulled in the lowest score of the adults, have yet to get any kind of consistency when i bowl
2.bowling with the family, Lance especially loved it and was not bothered at all that it took on average 3 minutes for his ball to make it all the way to the pins
3. nursery rhyme day at dylan's preschool. he wanted to be jack, as in "jack be nimble, jack be quick" and donned his favorite attire these days, which is an under armor shirt and basketball shorts. i was pretty okay with that idea since it required no extra creativity on my part either.
4. kate performing with the hs cheerleaders at a basketball half time after attending 3 days of cheer camp after school, boy can she do a good twist!
5. i am now the cub scout master in our ward and was put in right before the pinewood derby and blue and gold banquet so i have been busy with those activities. when i decided i wanted to do a camping theme for the blue and gold banquet this year i roped my sister marci into making the cake for it. it turned out awesome and everyone loved it! i think she should be on ace of cakes with this winning number.
6. i try to volunteer in kate's class once a week and lauren often comes with. she can be quite a distraction for the other kids who usually come flocking around her, kate loves it however
7. kate's kindergarten class celebrated surving 100 days of kindergarten!
8. on feb 15 derek, lauren, and i flew down to slc with our good friends (and cousins) bryan and katie to attend paul cardall's first piano concert since his heart transplant. we had a great little trip and enjoyed showing bryan and katie around the salt lake area.
9. spring soccer has begun and we will now be spending the next 6 saturdays at soccer games. we had a beautiful day sat. so it was really nice to be outside. tyler's team won, an added bonus.

Marci and my sister could open up a cake baking business together here in RC. What a great looking cake. We have so much talent here in RC.
